SUMMARY:Workshop: Japanisches Puppenspiel
DESCRIPTION:Lerne die Kunst des „Bunraku“ unter Anleitung von Noriyuki Sawa kennen!\nEs braucht drei Leute\, um eine Puppe zum Leben zu erwecken? Im japanischen Puppenspiel schon! Noriyuki Sawa gibt eine theoretische und praktische Einführung in die 1000-jährige Tradition des Bunraku. Ein Workshop auf Englisch für professionelle Puppenspieler und -spielerinnen und die\, die es werden wollen: \n„One Day Adventure With Japanese BUNRAKU“\nJapanese traditional puppetry has almost one thousand years history. In the EDO-period\, puppetry reached the top of the cultural popularity in Japan. This was achieved by their invention of a special manipulation technique: the method of having three actors to manipulate one puppet on the stage. Later they called it „BUNRAKU“ from the name of their producer.\nOn the other hand\, in the modern theaters around the world\, puppet theatre directors have developed their new style as the alternative and opened forms of the puppetry\, including many different artistic elements into the classical puppet theatre – for example mask\, mime\, sound effect\, lighting-technique\, projections and so on…\nIn this workshop\, we will practise the BUNRAKU technique and also add some new\, alternative method into it. We try to find our own small\, but new approach to THE FUTURE PUPPET THEATRE! \nFirst step: Introduction „BUNRAKU“\nGet to know the concept\, history and techniques of traditional Japanese puppetry in a short lecture. \nSecond step: Training Of Manipulation\nUsing your body and some objects\, you will get the basic training of BUNRAKU manipulation. \nThird step: Improvisation & Presentation\nAlong with some simple themes\, the participants will try to make short improvisations.
